SCC is delighted to welcome you to our website and to the attractions of London, a city which will be hosting the Olympics in 2012! This popular College was founded in 1985 and it is our aim to offer affordable courses for students from abroad in a friendly yet professional environment. Subjects ranging from Business and Computer Studies, to Travel Industry and English Language Courses are all on offer.

South Chelsea College has received confirmation that it has been scheduled for an Educational Oversight review by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) in March 2012.

English Language Testing

The United Kingdom Border Authority ( UKBA) has introduced compulsory English Language Testing for all Tier 4 adult students (those studying on courses of over 6 months) who are not from the list of ‘majority English Speaking’ countries.

All students must gain a qualification equivalent to level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).  The UKBA has now published a list of ‘approved’ English Language tests and you can find the following links to their website to obtain this information:

Potential students may choose which approved test they want to take, but one of the most broadly available is the TOEFL IBT. Details of where and when you can take this test online can be found at :

Please note that all new applicants to SCC, who had previously been cleared for entry to the College, will now be required to submit a copy of their score report or test report form or certificate and statement of results, before a certificate of acceptance (CAS) can be issued. The College apologises for any inconvenience that is caused to students by this new requirement. 

As a ‘trusted’ Sponsor SCC is not recruiting new Tier 4 students for courses below CQF level 4.
