South Chelsea College is accredited by the Association of British Language Schools (ABLS) for the teaching of English Language. ABLS is recognised by the Home Office as one of the three main bodies accrediting courses at private education institutions along with the British Council and the BAC. In addition, our internationally recognised professional courses are externally accredited by the Association of computer Professionals (ACP) and the Association of Business Executives (ABE).
City and Guilds/Pitmans, Oxford Cambridge & RSA (OCR), ASET and Alliance Qualifications are offered to ensure that students at all levels, including key skills, have access to externally validated examinations. English as a Foreign Language (ESOL/EFL) courses prepare students for all levels of the University of Cambridge ESOL examinations, and the College is a centre for KET and PET examinations.
The ACP and ABE Advanced Diploma courses in Computing and Business Studies are equivalent to the second year or foundation level of a UK degree programme and they offer access to the final year of university Honours BSc or Masters Degree courses in the UK and other countries. As Students of an ABE accredited College, SCC Business Studies Students are invited by the University of Hertfordshire to convert their Advanced Diploma in Business Administration into an Hons BSc in Business Administration or an Hons BSc in International Business Administration via a one year top-up course.
Similarly ACP students with a good grade at Advanced Diploma level are entitled to study for a BSc in Computer Science and Information Systems through a one year course at the University of Hertfordshire.
