South Chelsea College is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) and has a sponsorship licence issued by the United Kingdom Border Authority (UKBA) – Licence no: SLN 14C9VYP94. The College is also a member of the Association of British Language Schools.
Our internationally recognised professional courses are externally accredited by the Association of Business Executives (ABE) and the British Computer Society (BCS). In addition, ASET and University of Cambridge ESOL Qualifications are offered to ensure that students at all levels, from level 3 and above on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), have access to externally validated examinations.
ABE and BCS Diplomas, as well as in some circumstances IELTS or advanced ESOL qualifications (University of Cambridge Local Education Syndicate), enable students to enter undergraduate or graduate university courses. Successful completion of an ABE advanced diploma is equivalent to a foundation degree at University. Conversion to an Honours Degree can be achieved through a “top-up” year available at several British Universities. Students who complete a BCS Graduate Diploma in IT will have achieved the equivalent of a UK (Hons) degree and will be eligible to apply for professional membership and entry to a Masters Programme.
