Introduction
South Chelsea College prepares students from all over the world for
careers in modern business and industry and for further study.
The College is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) and has been approved by the United Kingdom Border Authority (UKBA) for a sponsorship licence (SLN 14C9VYP94) under tier 4 of the points-based immigration system. Courses are offered over periods of up to three years at both degree level and pre-degree level in Computer, Business, Health and Social Care, HIV/AIDS and Travel Industry Studies. A range of classes in the popular ‘English as a Foreign Language’ Department are also available.
The British Computer Society (BCS) and Association of Business Executives (ABE) courses in Computing and in Business Studies lead to professional qualifications which are equivalent to degree level or the second year BA(Hons) at a UK University. Depending on the subject and level chosen they offer access to a Masters degree or the final year of an Honours degree programme at Universities in the UK and other countries.
SCC, which is located in one of London’s most diverse and cosmopolitan
areas, has a lively atmosphere with modern facilities.
There are four computer labs running the latest software and over 100
work stations for students to use.
The College is small enough to ensure care for the individual student
but large enough to attract qualified and experienced teaching staff.
SCC staff will also help students to choose the right course and to
register with suitable academic or professional bodies.
Our reasonable fees mean students of moderate means can gain access to quality education, which will expand their range of choices, opportunities and qualifications for the future.
Studying for a qualification at SCC is also an excellent social and cultural experience for students of all ages. There is a lively entertainment scene and excellent sports facilities nearby, along with a colourful street market and shops. A student canteen is available.
The College is directly opposite Brixton underground station (Victoria Line) and several bus routes, giving easy access to local areas as well as the centre of London.
